Hemorrhoids?

b’smom asked:

My husband has been having some bleeding, and it looks like a hemorrhoid. The only thing is that he is not having any pain or itching. Do you think some hemorrhoids could be unpainful or would it be something else? Also, if it is a hemorrhoid, do you think it’s bleeding because we didn’t know about it sooner and could have treated it?

If it is bleeding, he should see a doctor. It’s not as innocent as you think.

Yes, not all roids are associated with pain & itching. The bleeding is independent of whether or not there was early detection, some roid types bleed more than others. A doctor can better determine or advise on a treatment – if one is needed. Many roids can be “tamed” by changes to your diet and/or with over the counter creams. Indeed roids are a curse, but don’t avoid a trip(s) to the doctor to plan a treatment – esp. during times of flare ups.

Hello Dear, I would suggest you take your hubby immediately to the doctors office, not to scare, just to push you to go asap. On of my very close friends was bleeding for a little period of time, You would believe he was the most healthiest people you know, against the looks Doctors discover Colon Cancer, to late to be treated; doctors said he will be lucky if he can live for the next 5 years, he never had any pain, he went to the doctor just because the wife dragged him to the doctors office.

Go to the specialist and get hubby to get check. I hope there is nothing wrong.

    Good luck.

As others have mentioned, do not self diagnose. It may be hemorrhoids and it may not be only the doctor can tell for certain

It could be a fissure. I would not lift on anything. I would stay off my feet and lay down. Do Not sit for long periods of time.
