Could a slight case of hemorrhoids cause a blood fecal test to read positive?

I had a bowel movement this morning, and the toilet was COVERED in bright red blood. I am only 6 weeks pregnant and have never experienced hemorrhoids before. I thought that it was just a little bit of blood when you have hemorrhoids. Also, not severe pain, but a little uncomfortable. Could it be more serious? Anyway, I just had an upset stomach episode which is common with IBS. I had a lot of cramping, pain in the stomach and well you get the idea. Anyway, after wiping myself I saw some blood.

I know it is from hemorrhoids since I’ve had them since my first child. I have seen blood before but this time it was kind of dripping some into the pot. I used a Preparation H suppository like I have in the past which always helps.

But after reading some online about this a lot of sites suggested using ICE to help shrink the bleeding hemorrhoid or sitting in a warm bath.

I am wondering about the ice though. How would you apply that? lol

& yes I will see a Dr. this coming week about this.

So a week ago I posted i was having issues with hemorrhoids durning my 2nd pregnancy. Well it seems like they’ve died down because I can tell they are still there but they aren’t bugging me now. The only problem i’m having now is everytime I have a bowel movement (i know too much for the morning huh?), i’m getting some lite bleeding. It’s just like when you wipe too hard and you can get some blood and it’s leaving my **** with a raw feeling. So what gives, is it likely an internal hemorrhoids that might be bleeding because I can’t pin point where the bleeding is coming from. My husband just said I popped open a hemorrhoid. Is there something I can do to try and stop the bleeding, like try tucks pads or something? I got see my doctor tuesday for my normal 4 week check up but its embarrassing to ask about hemorrhoids so I figured I would try here first for some advise.

Over the past weekend and early in the week, I suffered from food poisoning. As a result, I now have what seems to be pretty bad hemorrhoids/anal fissures. I haven’t looked but it seems that the entire rim of my **** is swollen. Pain is not as much of an issue, as that I can deal with, but it is the bleeding. For the past 2-3 days, it has been bleeding consistently. Not a lot on a regular basis, just more as if it is completely raw, like a bad scrape. I’ve tried sitz baths, neosporin, ice packs, and resting on my stomach as treatment.

The pain has dramatically declined, so I have a feeling it is working somewhat, but the bleeding has not. I have yet to try Tucks pads as I have seen recommended, are they really the best way to help stop the bleeding and are there other home remedies to stop it?
Edit: I can pretty much tell the bleeding is externally and not internally as the pattern of blood spots on toilet paper matches up with swollen areas around my ****.

Everyone is telling me to go to the hospital cause it could be something more serious but I honestly think it’s a bleeding hemorroid. I know I should probably have it checked regardless but I just want to know if this is normal for someone with hemorrhoids.
